Hat Care To keep your hat in good shape, it needs to be brushed with a very soft hat brush and stored in a hat box in a dry, cool place. Preferably on a block or stretcher set to your hat size. Humidity, being left in sunlight, and moths can damage wool hats. Treat your hat for weather proofing if possible and clean before you store.
